My Portfolio Site
Hey, I've made a new portfolio site, I'd love it if y'all would check it out:
https://mattbakerart.com
I've posted a few things in my portfolio that you won't see here, and vice versa, so that I don't double up too much, hopefully.
Let me know in the comments if you checked it out, and tell me what you think, and what you'd like to see more of.
Thanks in advance.
The Disney Days
After posting one of the animation frames from a scene that I did Cleanup on from Jungle Book 2, I got asked if I had any more stories about it. I answered on the thread, but thought I'd repost my answer here, in case anyone is interested in what it was like being a Cleanup Artist at a studio that did traditional animation.
I worked there (there being the Disney Studio in Sydney) from 2001-2006, when it closed down. I started off as a trainee Inbetweener and worked my way up to the position of a senior Cleanup Artist by the time it closed, at which point I changed my career up a bit and decided to have a go at being a freelance Illustrator.
Would you like the Jesus Comic as an e-comic?
I've received a lot of positive feedback about the Bible Society's 'Story of Jesus' 23-page comic book that I provided the art for.
Quite a few have mentioned that it's hard to get hold of, especially in countries other than Australia.
I'm thinking about approaching the Bible Society with the idea of turning it into an e-comic that can be downloaded anywhere.
I'm curious as to whether any of you would want this.
If you definitely would, please say so in the comments!
Check out the front cover here:
UPDATE November 2016: Unfortunately the Bible Society has no plans at this time to venture into eBooks, so it's a no-go for now.

I have some selected artworks that I am selling over at RedBubble under the name 'artthatmatters': http://www.redbubble.com/people/artthatmatters
It'd be extremely cool of you if you would support my work and enjoy my art by purchasing it on your fave merchandise.
Thank you to everyone who leaves comments, it always means a lot to me that you take the time to do so.
Matt.
